I attached a magnet to the adhesive provided and this three slot one is working great for me. I'm currently hanging an apple 30 pin connector, iphone usb-c connector, and a usb connector off of it with no issues.

The five slot one is longer than i thought but is otherwise identical in quality/weight to the three slot which met my needs. Both have enough rubber on the end for an additional slot, not sure why as it seems unnecessary to take up space which can't be used.
